The police in Lagos have arrested a 64-year old, Habib Abdullahi, who allegedly specialised in inserting fingers into little girls’ private parts to satisfy his sexual desire.
The arrest followed a report by one of his neighbours, one Mrs. Obinna, of Selewu area of Ikorodu, Lagos.
It was gathered that Uncle Abdullahi as he is popularly known in the area who is a carpenter, lured the victim into his apartment and defiled her.
He was said to have removed her pant, opened her legs and inserted his fingers into her private part which shocked the victim.
When he was satisfied with the “fingering”, he allowed her to go but warned her not to tell anyone what happened.
This was confirmed by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Imohimi Edgal, at the State Command.
The police boss said that the Gender Section was investigating the assault and the suspect was undergoing interrogation.
He said that during investigation, it was revealed that on 3rd December, 2018, the suspect took the victim to his room and committed the act.
However, it was exposed after the mother noticed that her daughter was unnecessarily irritated and withdrawn.
