Saraki vs Federal Government, Who Is Winning The Ongoing Game Of Politics?

For the past few days now, there have been really interesting displays of political games and gimmicks between the Bukola Saraki led Senate and the ruling party.

It all started two days ago when Senate President, Bukola Saraki was summoned by the IGP over the robbery incident that happened in Offa, in April, 2018.

Meanwhile, there are several reports making grounds that Senate President, Bukola Saraki is considering dumping the ruling party, All Progressive Congress, APC for PDP. Should Saraki leave APC, many APC Senators who are his loyalists are likely to follow him.

Now, the ruling party are using the Police to checkmate some of Saraki’s political tactics and moves but the whole thing got more interesting as the Kwara State politician always finds his way out.

In what looked like a bid to stop the Senate Plenary session that will see some APC senators defect to PDP yesterday, Senate President Bukola Saraki’sconvoy was blocked from leaving his own premises by the DSS and Police.

Saraki was able to escape the Police siege to preside on the plenary and of course about 13 APC senators defected to PDP as expected.
