The youth of Uselu, Benin, Edo State, are currently protesting after a 6-year-old school pupil was swept away by the flood, yesterday while returning from school.
The aggrieved youth claim the death wouldn’t have occurred if the big drainages in the area were well covered. The boy was said to have tripped and fallen into an uncovered drainage around Textile Mill junction.
