Okotete Okiemute, best known as Kitay, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, recording artist and stage performer.
Kitay, the 5th of 9 children was born in Warri south local government, Delta state and hails from the Urhobo speaking part of the state.
Kitay is presently a student of Vocational and Technical Education at Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma.
His major music breakthrough came at MTN Project Fame Season 9 in 2016 where he finished as 2nd runner up. But before then, he finished as 1st runner up at the Youth Blaze Gospel Talent Hunt Season 3 in 2013.
He came into limelight after winning the Project Fame competition, which allowed him to pick music as a career.
